8 November 2005 23:55They had come home a few hours ago to find the house quiet, Ella asleep and everyone else locked away in their room or cottages. A few were outside somewhere.
The stereo in the bedroom was turned on, the sound down low, barely audible to those with normal hearing. The patio doors wide open, a slight breeze wafting through the rooms. Jason curled up in the center of the bed, his eyes closed, half buried under the covers, listening to the music and the sounds from outside.
