14 April 2006 18:10The house was quiet for the first time in two days. Ella was tucked away in her crip for a nap, everyone else was off in different parts of the house.
Except for one wolf cub who was curled up on the couch, having another nap. Every so often he would twitch in his sleep, a paw kicking out.
It happened rather quickly, shifting from wolf cub back into human, but Jason didn't wake. There was no goo, no cracking of bones or screams of pain. Just a strange popping noise and the cub had disappeared, leaving Jason naked and facedown, still asleep.
