thewolfinsideThe house was quiet, something that was very unusual. No Ray playing with Ella, no blasting stereos, no tv turned up so loud you wanted to throw a table through the damn thing to get people to shut it off.
No heartbeats either. That was the disturbing part. Everyone in the house and the rodents were at the ranch still, Jason had just come by to check on the others still living on the lands. It was amazing how quickly this place had gone from being the main house to the vacation place. It was just that the ranch seemed more like home, while the lands here had always seemed like... a crash space. A temporary place for them.
He finished going through the house, locking the place down. A final check to make sure that there wasn't anything in the fridge or freezers. Picking up some things that they hadn't gotten when they moved their stuff to the ranch, mostly some books All of the cars had been moved over, the off roading toys... there really wasn't much here besides the furniture.
And really, at this point, the only ones left were in the carriage house. Jason had extended the offer for them to come with, or to visit whenever they wanted, but he really couldn't see Sev being happy on a horse ranch.
He fully expected Nat to show up, if only to see the horses.

Date: 11 Jul 2006 21:30 (UTC)I know that the pard is on hiatus, and that's ok, but if the pard is going to be not-quite-on-hiatus, please let those of us who still really really like to RP with you and the pard pups, but aren't lucky enough to live in your house, know. ;)
I'm going to hold off on Zane's reaction to this until I know more about how the offer was extended. Gabe and Jason suddenly being poof moved out to a new home without telling him (which is my own initial reaction since this is the first I've heard of it) is going to get a very different response than Gabe and Jason talking to him about it first. I love these pups and I love you and Will, and I don't want IC actions to lead to OOC hurt.))
