He didn't know why he let Lil talk him into this. Hell, Jason didn't know why he let Lil talk him into a lot of things, they all ended badly.

Like now, he was stuck on top of the Golden Gate Bridge. She had dragged him here then taken his pinpoint and disappeared, leaving him up here. One day, he was going to to beat her ass so hard she wasn't going to be able to sit for a week.

That would happen after he got down though. And it didn't look like it would be happening anytime soon. Jason had left messages with just about everyone, but no one had called him back yet. He was starting to get a bit worried that Lil had gotten to the messages first.

It's convenient, having the celphone number of someone who isn't always just a biped.

A swan circles its way slowly up the tower Jason's atop, a PINpoint clutched in its beak.

Anyone else would find a swan flying around the bridge at midnight very weird.

Anyone else didn't have a wereswan as a nanny. As such, Jason takes the PINpoint and eyes the swan. "You're laughing at me, aren't you?"

Anders shifts back to human form, and shakes his head. "No. It did not sound like a good situation, and I was, well." He grins, and continues "Well suited to helping you out. Hell it's cold up here."

Jason shrugs, not shivering but he is cold. "It's not too bad. If she had dumped me in Alaska I would be cold."

He waves the pinpoint, grinning. "Heading home with me, or are you going to fly back?"

"Well, I did only bring the one with me, so- probably best I go with you." He rubs his upper arms. "And yes, it is not too cold, but I do not- don't- have anything on!" He laughs.

Laughing as well, Jason hits the button on the pinpoint to send them home. He makes sure that the portal opens up above a beam that they can walk on, not wanting to have to step out over traffic.

"This is why you should start carrying a pack with at least a pair of shorts in it. After you."

"I left everything at h--" and through the portal "--ome."

Much warmer wherever they went, just being down about 300 feet and off of the ocean.

"Couldn't fly with a pack and shorts in it."

Yes, it was warmer because everything at sea level was currently suffering a heat wave.

"We could fix you a tiny little pack to carry around your neck or something."

"Not worth worrying about, really. I'm glad I wasn't in the middle of something when you called!" He stretches up on his toes.

Jason grins and watches. He isn't blind and there's a cute naked guy in front of him. "So am I. And I called like a dozen or so people. I guess they didn't want to go up that high."

Anders flushes juuust a bit noticing the glance- and turns to make himself less embarassingly obvious. Though my, dancers have nice asses.

"Er. I told Gabriel I would fly up and handle it- and, er, whoever else was around when I heard your message." He shrugs, and says "I can fly. Makes this far easier for me than most." He heads over to where he left himself a pair of jeans and goes to step into them.

Aw, cute blushing nanny. They really should stop doing that sort of thing to him. And yes, dancers do have nice asses.

"Thank you, Anders. Although, it might have been fun calming down Gabe after that. More than likely not though."

Iiinto the jeans, then. "I more let him know I was going to take care of it because I was going to- there was no point in him trying ot figure out how to get inside the tower, ja?" He grins. "I think there is a hatch on top, like on the Bay Bridge- you can go down a lot of ladders."

Jason chuckles, sprawling out in a chair. "Gabe would have just ripped a hole in the floor or something. He doesn't let a whole lot get in his way."

The Dance of the Freeballing Gentleman ensues as Anders gets his fly fastened. "Well, he might have gotten arrested, for doing something like that. So it's good that I was around to do the job." And then he says "Do you want something to drink? I want coffee, something warm." He brrrs again.

"Coffee sounds good. With rum. Or bourbon. Or whatever Gabe left in the bar."

"There are rum and bourbon," Anders says as he heads for the kitchen and starts the coffee maker. "Which do you prefer?" he asks as he gets both out.

Jason follows and takes a seat at the bar, shaking his head. "The rum, since we're out of brandy."

He watches Anders for a bit, enjoying that fact that someone other than him is cooking. "So, how's the river god?"

"Rum, then; I think that sounds a good thing too... Oh, that is a rather good question. Barinthus has not been around the lake in some time." He just manages to not look like he's troubled by that. "Gabriel's enjoying the break in pace?" Frowns. "...change of pace, that is the phrase."

From: [identity profile] thewolf-inside.livejournal.com
"Have you tried calling him here? I kind of worried that the water in the lake was too damaged." Jason smiles, rolling his eyes. "Gabe is loving the change of pace. I think it may have something to do with the fact that no one knows where we are."
