Jason jerks awake and stares at the ceiling. After a few moments, he pulls a pillow over his head, inhaling the scent that lingers. Safety, peace, love, calm. That's what he gets from Gabriel's scent. His heartbeat finally slows down to a normal speed and he moves off the bed. He finds Gabriel's note and smiles, then heads for the bathroom. He takes a quick shower and wanders back into the bedroom wearing a towel, lays on the bed and stares at the ceiling.
