It's the screaming that finally wakes him up, takes him a few seconds to realise he was the one screaming. He sits up and hugs his knees to his chest, trying to calm down.

Not even able to say it again, nuzzling past Jason's hair, kissing at the back of his neck.

"You're not trading yourself. It's not going to happen. And Xander is with Red, he already knows everything she knows."

Closes his eyes and sighs.

"Yet you spoke of killing yerself to avoid goin' back to her? Promise, remember?"

Shaking his head, pulling back a little, biting his lip.

'Xander offered to help. I don't trust a single damn person. Don't trust him. Can't let you go back.'

Shakes his head.

"Red has already agreed to help, you don't need to deal with Xander. And if you're going to, I go with. I don't know him."
