It's the screaming that finally wakes him up, takes him a few seconds to realise he was the one screaming. He sits up and hugs his knees to his chest, trying to calm down.
Takes the necklace from Hermes and puts it in Gabe's hand. "For my piece of mind. If you're going to do something stupid, I want you to have some sort of backup."
"I'm takin' suggestions and ideas cause, well, mine royally sucks and will likely leave me broken and bloody for about a month so... Love to hear whatcha got. Being a god and all."
Honestly, I don't know the situation all that well. *shrugs and stands in the doorway* I'm not a confrontational fighter...more of a sneak in, wipe 'em all out, and high-tail it before they knew I was there.
Sighs, leaning against Hermes as he pulls Jason closer.
"In a nutshell? I have until tonight to turn Jason over to Raina or we both die. I will not do this. He's mine, goddamit and she isn't touching him again!"
Slumping as Jason's leaves the room, eyes closing one more as his hand remains white knuckle around the necklace. Leaning closer to Hermes, whispering.
"I swear, if she gets him? I will blow us the fuck up. All three. He... He'd rather be dead than with her. And I won't let her keep doing this to him."
Falling silent, dark eyes having bled to gold.
"Nightmares? That anywhere near in yer department?"
...I'd do it too. Norman...Norman's going to be eaten alive by something very, very scary...and he might take me down with him. That's why...that's why I'm terrified.
Stammering, relief showing on his face. Leaning against Hermes, eyes closing.
"She's using them to get to him. If... If I have to go to her, I want him safe. Please? I've haven't talked to God, to any god, since I was twelve. Please? Watch over him for me? All I ask."
Reaching up and grabbing Jason by the jaw, yanking him around to look in his eyes.
"This isn't fucking about Alpha and we both know it. It's about you and I and actually having a fucking chance to figure out what the hell is going on between us. So don't turn away from me and hide, dammit! I thought we decided last night that shit was over.'
Snarling, lip curling as those gold eyes stares into Jason.
"Hermes... I... Forgive me... Please' Panting, still staring into his lover's eyes.
Pulls Jason close, actually tugging him onto his lap.
"You know, this was easier when you were shorter."
Smiling a little, holding tight.
"I won't go then. I told ya last night, I'm not leavin'. Yer stuck with me, pup. What do we do? You think she won't hunt us down? Think again. You know it. How do we get yer freedom?"
