Deidre is in the middle of meeting with Medusa with Xander and Willow when she dials Jason's number, and waits for him to pick up. Medusa wants concrete evidence of Raina's evil, and what's better than asking a "surviving victim" (Medusa's words) to back them up?
"It's Deidre. We need a little help. We've got Medusa here, and she might be persuaded to help us with Raina...if we can get a couple of eyewitnesses to back us up that Raina really is the big bad we're saying she is."
