She can't help but laugh.

"Innocence. Boy, wrong pair of this duo to be calling innocent.' Once more flushing, head bowed to hide from Jason, even as she bats at his hand, shaking her head to tousle her golden locks.

"I hope you're right. I really do."

Gaby crawls out from under the table and towards the hallway. She pushes herself up and walks down the hallway, heading for an open door.

Grins and heads for the fridge, grabbing himself a bottle of water.

"Haven't you figured it out, I'm always right."

"Oh? That so? Mmmmhmm. I'll just mention that to Gabriel and see what he...'

Eyes roaming, not wanting to look at Jason given everything she'd said. And suddenly realizing there was no babbling brook of a baby under the table.

"Gaby?"

Slipping out of the kitchen, eyes darting this way and that. "Gabyabbybab... There you are.'

Snatching up the toddler, gathering her close.

"Nonono. Gabybaby. No wandering off. Unkie Jason would have to answer to Unkie Gabriel then and then? Then the puppy and kitty fight.' Taking in little baby tones, rubbing noses with the child even as she whimpers, preparing to cry.

Follows Em, suddenly worried, then grins at the pair.

"It's going to take a bit of time to get used to her being here."

"I have a baby sister. And an older one. But.. Used to it."

Shifts Gaby to one hip, bouncing her slightly. "You'll need to get baby gates and latches and all for the new house. Especially if you are going to get more than one story. Stairs and all."

He nods, taking the crying girl from Emma, trying to soothe her.

"Already planned on that, got the lists over there and lots of printouts from a baby site."

He frowns when Gaby doesn't settle down, looking down at her.

"Turning into a Daddy's Girl already? Fine, fine, we'll take you into Gabe."

She can't help but laugh. 'Leave it to a baby to pick the biggest baddie around and turn him into her personal servant."

Grins at Gabe after the kiss and leans over, whispering to Em.

"Not just the baby."

Biting her lip, trying so hard not to laugh.

"ON that note I think I'll go shower and change. Sleeping on the sofa left me all knotted up."

"No need. I heard her already.'

Swooping in, kissing Jason on the lips hard as he took Gaby.

"Least my girl let me sleep in, didn't she?' Nuzzling her cheek, almost glaring at the two blondes to say something.

Gaby quiets almost instantly, smiling and patting at Gabe's face. She giggles at the nuzzling and starts babbling, playing with her fingers.

"That's my girl. Now, you are so going to have to get over this, Gaby. Because I won't always be here.'

For a moment, a glimmer passed Gabe's eyes. Anyone that had ever dealt with animals knew that looked. It was the look a predator gave when they were cornered. When they realized they'd been trapped and their was no way out. Shaking his head, trying to dismiss that feeling, to hide it from the others as he ruffled Gaby's hair.

Watches Em head for the bathroom and reaches over, pulling Gabriel closer to him, hugging his lover, the child between them.

"I think she was just startled, she'll get over it quickly enough with everyone doting on her."

Kisses Gabriel over the girl's head, smiling when she smacks him.

"So, 'Daddy', going to help me pick out a house before the contractor gets here?"

"Stop calling me that. I'm barely capable of taking care of myself, nonetheless a small child. Even if I like how she handles you.'

Smirking, stealing another kiss from his lover with a soft purr. One that made Gaby squeal, thumping at Gabe's chest with her tiny palm.

"Show me what choices we have?"

Grins into the kiss, pulling back with a laugh when she hits Gabriel as well.

"That's funny, I like how she handles you as well. And you won't be doing it alone."

Takes his mate's hand, leading the way towards the table and pointing at the plans.

"There you go. So far everyone likes the one with the wrap around porch."

Tucking Gaby onto one hip, ignoring as she began yanking at his ear, leaning up to blow bubbles against his cheek.

"I think I'm with everyone. Like that the room are so seperated."

Pondering. Looking at them curiously. "So what? You and me. Pip squeak here and then boys and girls? Zane and Jase in one, Lee and Em in the other? And is Lil here perm or with Jaydyn? I'm thinking, give Scud an apartment off the garage. He'll love it."

Laughs, sitting down in a chair, looking up at them.

"More like Em and Jase in one, Zane and whoever in the other. And Scud sleeps whereever he wants, he does anyway."

Reaches up for the little girl, cuddling her close.

"What do you think of that, little one? Get a room all to yourself, full of toys, a castle on the wall... And we need a new nick name for you. Gaby is just too weird."

Babbles a bit, playing with Jason's shirt.

"So we're letting them be? Jase and the baby blonde?" Sighing, looking slightly put off by that, shaking his head.

"I don't know if it's him being you and her being her and knowing you two are and were so tight. Or that she's ... ' He sighs again. 'She's Zane's age. Why can't I see that and accept it?'

Looks over at the baby, biting his lip.

"Ella?"

Shrugs, not looking concerned.

"It's going to happen, whether we want it to or not. They've latched on to each other. And he's not me, except that he is, and it's completely different."

Grins and shakes his head.

"Still confusing a bit. And Abby? Ella or Abby."

"I like Ella.' Nods a little, looking at her. "Yeah. Not even close to my name. And a new beginning for her as well."

"I know he's not you. It's more just... damned if I know. Protecting her? Protecting him? I'll be damned if I know."

Holds her arms up to Gabriel, wriggling around in Jason's arms.

"Da."
