He wakes slowly, not wanting to move. He had shifted back sometime during the night, it was kinda fuzzy. Peeling himself from the sticky blankets and sheets, he stands slowly and walks toward the bathroom. He walks into the shower, turning the water on scalding and steps under the spray. Leans against the wall, letting the water pound into his body, washing away the sticky fluid and the coldness on his skin.

Doesn't really think, just reacts. Grabs Gabe's arm and holds tight, pushing the wolf to the surface, trying to drag his lover's beast out.

Leaning forward, kissing Gabriel's brow as the wolf reaches out, brushing against his mate's skin.

"Shift Gabe, don't leave me alone, please." His voice soft, pleading.

Shaking, eyes beginning to roll back in his head as shock set in. Twitching, gasping, trying to breath.

Beast and human warring, fighting. And then words.

Whispering softly as he felt his back split. Like a zipper being undown, drawn down slowly, fur pouring forth as it opened. Liquid washing hot over Zane, the "suit" of Gabe's human form slowly peeling back, baring the beast, bones snapping, making him scream again before his body heaved, twisted.

And then a damp leopard lay atop Zane.

Reaches over, pulling the leopard into his lap, instantly checking over the new limb.

"Zane, go clean up. Bring me something to burn that with first, please?"

Looks up, smiling at the other man in thanks and then goes back to checking over Gabe. Bends the paw, checking to make sure everything grew back properly.

Near unconscious, curled on his side. Chest barely moving as he pants, tongue lolling out the side of his mouth.

All the joints moving well, no wounds, looking the same as before the accident.

Sits there petting Gabriel, hand moving slowly across the soft fur, cleaning it of the sticky fluid.

Waits until Zane comes back out and then carefully moves Gabe to the ground. Grabs the limb and tossed it on the fire pit and setting it to burn. He turns and picks up Gabriel, heading into the house.
