Wanting to go home yet wanting to go away again, he makes the trip back last as long as possible, making Gabe stop for some absolutely stupid (and some not so stupid) reasons.

It's almost dark by the time they reach the house and Jason has the oddest feeling taht he shouldn't walk in the house, that it would be better to drag Gabe to the garage and curl up in Scud's bed.

She drops a pillow on his head and goes upstairs.
