Background:

Jason's grandfather was a lapsed Jew, who converted to Methodist when he married his wife. As the story goes, they had a fiery romance that ended with a pregnancy and marriage. Somehow, the bickering, hateful couple ended up with seven children total. Their children scattered across the states when they came of age, wanting to get far away from their parents.

Jason's mother converted to Catholicism during college and eventually married a young lawyer from her church. The happiness between the two lasted for a few years, but the marriage deteriorated when they tried to have children. Ten long years of unsuccessful treatments and miscarriages took their toll, the couple not even speaking each other when Jason was finally born, a month early.

Childhood:

The only child of a disallusioned workaholic and a fanatic catholic, Jason's homelife was quiet and strained. He learned early on that it didn't take much to set his mother off and send his father back to the office. Quiet, small for his age, Jason spent all his time studying and avoiding his parents.

His family attended holiday gatherings at his grandparents, until their deaths in a car accident when he was five. After that, none of the siblings could be bothered, preferring their own festivities to the battlezone that they had attended every year at their parents home.

Jason left home when he was eighteen to attend college, and never looked back.

Schooling:

A straight student, Jason excelled in the sciences, quickly taking an interest in chemistry. He never tried out for any sports teams, being much smaller than the other students, and knowing that his mother would never allow it.

He was awarded a full scholarship to the University of Missouri - St. Louis, majoring in Chemistry and Biochemistry.

Crazy Life:

During his freshman year, Jason's roommates dragged him to a club in the blood district, claiming he needed to lose his virginity. It also happened to be the night that Raina was looking for new recruits for the pack. He spent most of the night staring at her table, fascinated. Unlike everyone else, he wasn't paying any attention to Raina, he was watching her companion, Gabriel. Which pissed Raina off to no end.

She gave them drinks, invited them to a party she was having. There she pulled Jason into a back room and fucked him, ripping him apart and making him one of her pack in the process. Two weeks later she forgot he existed. Or so he thought.

During the next few months, Jason lost all his friends and his parents disowned him, but he thought he had found a friend in Gabriel. After fucking Jason in a hallway during a dinner party Gabriel moved on to his next victim, leaving Jason to realise the cold hard truth. He was a joke between Raina and Gabriel.

Soon after that Raina took Jason as her pet, spending the next seven years reinforcing the lesson that Gabriel taught him. That he was nothing but a toy.

Nexus:

Raina is the reason Jason found the nexus. It became her new obsession, and Jason's outlet during a confinement. It was also where he ran after Raina went insane, looking for safety among the regular visitors of the multiverse's meeting point. He built a life for himself, and eventually met his mate, husband and new alpha. Gabriel, an alternate of the man he hated.

Present:

The road hasn't been easy, but they're building a healthy pard and family. And getting their own shit worked out in the process.
