Sitting on the steps, tugging at the sleeves of his shirt, Jason waits.

He'd made the reservations a week ago, at a very nice restaurant in Paris. Third floor private balcony, overlooking the Seine with a great view of the Eiffel Tower.

Yeah, stupid and sappy and romantic. Hopefully Gabe wouldn't think he was stupid for it.

He fiddles with the pinpoint, watching down the hall for his husband.

Wincing, letting his legs slide down along Gabe's sides, he reaches for his lover.

"Come 're. Want you."

Still shaking, finally pulling out with a wince. Slumping, dropping down beside Jason, pulling him close. Tiny kisses along his jaw and throat.

Jason shrugs out of his shirt and then curls up against Gabe. "I was joking about that whole separate rooms thing."

Gabe can't help but laugh. "You damn well better cause if you think I'm getting up right now, you are fucking nuts."

Clinging to Gabe, Jason shakes his head. "Nope, you're not leaving. I can't sleep without you here."

He shifts, wincing a bit. "Can I take the ring off now?"

"I knew I'd be up all night. I love you so much and I can't sleep in the bed without you. Would rather sleep out in the snow without you than in here without you.'

Kissing Jason before moving his hand down over his torso and slowly removing the ring.

Whimpering quietly at the touch, then taking Gabe's hand, he licks the ring and Gabe's skin clean.

"We're so co-dependent."

"You know, I know everyone says that. Well guess what? I don't care. I love you. You make me happy. I'm not hurting people. I'm not killing people. And I make you happy. How bad can we be?"

He kisses Gabe, pulling him closer. "Joking. I was joking, babe. Don't care what anyone else thinks, you know that."

"I know. Just saying. Yeah, we are. I won't deny that. But jesus fuck, we're better off now than we were before."

He snuggles against Gabe, closing his eyes. "Yeah, we are better off." He muurs softly, burying his head in Gabe's neck. "I don't want to get up."

Twisting, doing his best to pull the covers over them. "Then don't baby. Stay right here with me.' Kissing the top of his head, eyes closing as he cradled Jason close. "Love you, my sweet pup."
