This was the hard part about the highs, he could never sleep for more than a few hours at a time. Three am and he was wide awake while everyone else was sleeping.

He had fallen asleep finally, but had woken up about an hour ago. Not wanting to wake up Gabe, he'd made his way to the library, taking his books with him. Summer classes hadn't been on the schedule at first, but he'd done a late enrollment to pick up a few to keep him busy. And right now he was ahead on his assignments.

At this rate, he'd finish the work before the halfway point. He was seriously thinking about picking up a few of the harder classes for the fall term, just to stay busy.

Because really, there were only so many worlds you could conquer before you ran out of playgrounds to play in.

"Maybe, maybe not." He reaches out, tugging at her hair.

Smirking again, he nods. "I do."

Stepping closer, smiling. "Oh, I can persuasive.' Licking her lips as she looks him up and down.

"Mmmm, would that turn you on to take me in front of my girlfriend and your husband and not let them touch themselves, let alone one another?"

He's quick, his hand a blur as he reaches out and pulls her hard against him.

"Yes. I'm figuring out I like a lot of things I didn't think I would."

Gasping, shocked but she recovers quickly.

"Like what? Bad girls that beg pretty for it? Or girls at all?"

He dips his head, nuzzling at her cheek and neck. "Women period. Along with a lot of other things."

Getting cocky now, wrapping her arms around his waist. "And how many women are their?" Teasing, her smile showing it. 'I don't think fantasizing about me and Lil counts for plurals there."

"Hmm, I think you do. Maybe Tam, because Zane wants help introducing her to some things."

He smiles softly, kissing her shoulder. "Otherwise, that's it."

It was nice, just laying there in the dark, cuddling and teasing. "I feel special." Despite her smile, it was obvious she meant it. "Tamarantha, huh? Isn't she a bit young?"

He liked this more than anything at the moment, needing just a few minutes of peace.

"Technically, yeah."

Making tsking sounds, shaking her head. "Wicked boy. Being all naughty with the children.' Smirking though as she leaned in to kiss his jaw.

He pouts at her, trying not to laugh. "Does this mean I'm grounded? No more playing?"

"I don't ground naughty kids,' she scolded, trying to sound stern. "I punish them.'

She doesn't make it, giggling softly.

"Oooh, do I get a spanking? Or a whipping?" He nuzzles at her cheek, whispering to her. "Because I have everything you'd need to do both."

Mmm, skirting that dangerous ground between teasing and serious flirting. "You'd like that wouldn't you?" Voice hushed in the dark. "Turn things around and me push you a little?"

Jason goes still for a moment, then chuckles. He was a wolf, not a rabbit, and even he had limits.

That didn't mean the thought of her using a whip on him right then and there didn't cross his mind.

"Would I have to beg for it first?"

"Would you?" Asked very seriously, her head canting to one side. "Would you beg me of all people?"

Reaching up, he brushes his thumb over her bottom lip, looking thoughtful.

"There's only four people I trust enough for that, Carrie. And only one of them is female." His voice just as serious, looking her in the eyes when he speaks.

She kisses the pad of his thumb, in awe at how seriously things had gone. "I didn't think I'd ever be with another guy after what happened. And yet? Here I am."

"Hmm, makes you wonder, doesn't it?" Less of a question than it sounds, smiling.

He pulls Carrie close again, hugging her. "So, Lil off playing again, or is she curled up in bed?"

Cuddling in close, resting her head on this shoulder. "She's sleeping. I wake up sometimes, think I'm still in prison. Keeps me up sometimes."

Shrugging, trying to dismiss it all.

"I guess it would be mean of me to drag you in to sleep with Gabe and I then." Look, Jason can sound like a pouting child.

She shrugs. 'I can lay awake in there as much as anywhere. If you think Gabe won't mind."

"I'm beginning to think we should just get a bigger bed and move the two of you in." Grinning, he tugs her towards the bedroom. "And he won't mind, promise."

She is silent a bit, fingers curling around his as she follows. "I wouldn't mind but it would be up to Lil. Course, we'd then need a little space of our own. Other than the woods."
