thewolfinsideJason is curled up on the bed with Lil, Ella sleeping between them. He slowly pets Lil's hair, careful not to wake her, watching the tears dry on her face. He's lost on how to help her, unable to do more than be there for her.
He listens to the others in the house, Leela and Zane in the other bedroom, Jase and Em playing in the kitchen, Lee packing upstairs. He knows Scud and Gabe are in the garage, even if he can't hear them. Whispers softly to Lil when another nightmare disturbs her sleep, softly tracing her cheek with his fingertips, trying not to wake Ella.
