Curls up in the center of their bed, Ella snuggled up against him, almost asleep. Flips through the channels, the tv muted so not to disturb the baby. The bedroom door is open and he can hear Em and Jase talking in the main part of the house. Pulls the blanket over the little girl, making a mental note to turn down the air conditioning later.

Winces as he slips from Gabriel's body, the cool air almost cruel after that warmth. Nuzzles at Gabriel's neck, feeling safe in his arms.
