Sin looks down again, shaking a bit.

"I managed to put it out before it spread."

Curling his arms tighter around Sin, Ray glares at Gabe a bit. "And we called a contractor to fix it. We did."

He leans his head back and nuzzels at Gabe's neck, whimpering a little. "Don't be mad, Gabe...."

Arching a brow at the glare, tensing as his eyes close once more, taking a deep breath.

"I'm not mad. Just sentimental. But yeah, I know. I'm not expected to be that way. I'm just an asshole and a whore.' Sounding more sad than pissy.

Wraps his arms around Gabe, hugging him and kissing his neck.

"Not that counter."

Confused, Ray pulls back, one hand absently petting Sin's arm. "I-I didn't say that. I did not say that."

Biting his lip he looks between Gabe and Jason. "I j-just meant that we can't throw Sin out. I mean..."

A deep breath. "I didn't say that."

Leaning back into Jason, nodding as he sighs, wincing at Ray's reaction.

"No, you didn't. I said it, Cub. I'm sorry.' Pulling Ray close again, cuddling him tight, kissing him softly. "Forgive me? I'm just a little... edgy."

Sighing, Ray leans in. "Of course. Don't.. don't worry about it."

He pulls back a bit to grin at Sin and Jason. "But aren't we trying to figure out how to help Sin? Since, you know, we've sorta almost got the kitchen taken care of. Sorta."

Bites his lip. "Sorta, yeah."

Sighs while looking over at the girl who is trying to make herself look as small as possible.

"Training. We'll have to find her another witch or a circle to train with. Or at least get her some books and a safe area to practice in."

"And take notes from Tam's husband's sister. Wasn't she asking about fireproofing shit?'

Smirking at that, trying to keep his tones light. His eyes don't match.

"And we need new fire extinguishers, too. Hey, so now the only full human we have is Ella.' Smiling at that in earnest.

Sin bites her lip, looking at Ray, then to Gabe.

"And Lil's girlfriend."

Ray looks back and shrugs one shoulder slightly. Maybe he's just feeling off about having to come home and share Jason?

"I hold my reservations on yer kid, Dad." He grins brightly, trying to sooth the moment down even further, purring lightly. "Nothing that cute can be human."

"Lil's who what where why?" Okay, there was going to be a new rule. Moments needed to be had between revelations.

Cuddling to Jason, holding Ray a little tighter. Bending his head, kissing the crown of Ray's head. "I'm not pissed. Just... confused. But not about here. Promise."

"Her name is Carrie, and she's upstairs sleeping on the couch in the loft. She's Lil's girlfriend, or sorta girlfriend."

Sin shrugs and curls up on the stairs.

Coughing into his hand, Ray titled his head up at Gabe. "She was Lil's ex and she was in jail."

He hid another laugh. "Now I'm pretty sure she's neither."

He snuggles back but keeps an eye on Sin.

Groans and buries his face in Gabe's hair.

"We're running out of room."

"So we have an ex convict lover of Lil's living here now? Fuck, we need to move just to have more space. And we just had this place built.' But he laugh at that, slipping away from the pair and moving to where Sin is.

Curling down next to her, he kisses her brow. "Baby? We still love you, okay? You're pard. If you'll have us."

Looking earnest, Ray purrs a little louder. "She can have my room. And I could... share with Sin. If that's okay with her."

She looks at Ray and smiles, shaking her head.

"Ray? Your room is Gabe and Jason's room. I don't think they're going to give it up."

She looks to Gabe and nods, leaning against him. "Don't want to go, it's safe here."

"We're getting bigger. I promise. For now... Oh fuck, we'll figure it out. Bunk the new girl with Lil somewhere. You two can share. If need be? You two take ours and we'll hit the garage. Just means you get night feedings with Ella.'

Rising, holding out a hand to Sin. "So you stay, witchbaby."

Nightfeed? What the hell is nightfeeding?

Ray blinks, paling. Taking care of Ella at night? In the dark? Where he could bump things and drop her?

He manages a nervous laugh. "Y-yeah. I can do that. Nightfeeding -- no problem."

She takes Gabe's hand and stands, laughing at Ray.

"Lil and Carrie have been crashing on the couch upstairs, when they're not out partying or borrowing your r... nevermind on that."

She hugs Gabe, glancing at Jason.

"So, it's okay for me to be here, even though I'm not a shifter?"

Nods, watching.

"Don't know if it's the same in pard terms, but wolf packs used to have a witch for a vargamor, or wise person. Neutral party in the pack, human, for disputes and that. And to help draw the protective circle during the moons."

"She isn't hard. She just sometimes wants a biscuit late at night. She's a good kid. She really is.'

Smiling then, all tenderness and light over his daughter. Still holding Sin's hand, slipping them both back over to the others.

"Course it is. Em's not either. Nor Leela or Ella. We like you for you, kiddo, not shifting."

Ray beams and settles on the floor, legs all akimble. "So everything is okay now, right? Nobodies angry or leaving?"

He scratches at his stomach and laughs suddenly. "Or hungry? Because, you know, I don't think we can use the kitchen for a little while."
