Jason finishes moving the couch out of the way and steps back. The food is ready, the bar is cleared for the people bringing alcohol and the 'No Violence' wards are in place. He nods and then opens the door, propping it open with a large red rock that vaguely resembles two people fucking.

"Why did you do that?" Nathaniel asks, his voice low, but rough.

Jason turns to him and grins. "Do you want to spend all night answering the door?"

Nathaniel shakes his head, his long braid waving slightly. "No. I'm going to stay right here, out of the way."

Jason walks over and gives Nathaniel a quick hug. "Promise me you'll at least try to stay in human form for the night?"

Nathaniel nods, goes back to reading the book in his hands. Jason just shakes his head and goes to the kitchen to get a drink.

Indeed I do - helps to sort of get a rough idea of which job track one's alter is on at the moment, though.

Venom - yes, I do, although I encounter different versions on the Nexus. Mine used to be Eddie Brock but is now Mac Gargan, but I've seen Venom-Eddie still around in at least two incarnations ... and let's just not discuss the offspring.

Been having problems with him?

I don't even know who the heck he is, but he attacked me earlier. He even somehow disguised himself as Uncle Ben to mess with my head. Weirdest of all, he didn't.. *whispers since his secret isn't all the way out yet* set of my spider sense.

No, this is the only costume I've ever had. I believe aliens exist but I've never seen one.

And *science!* is protons, and leptons, and strage whizzy bits, and flammable rootbeer, and things that glow. I'm a little old fashioned, so I don't really understand it, but I know I like it.

You should see the kidlets' expressions when I do the EXPLODING FLAMING BUBBLES. That gets 'em every time.

After you've lit it and the sugar's caramelised (and put it out) the stuff tastes pretty good...mind you the flamming burps...not so good.
