Biting at his lip, shaking his head.

"Not yet? He... Fuck, isn't my place but he shouldn't be up for that. If I was his Alpha? His ass would be practically locked away until he was a hundred percent again."

She stares at him, not blinking. "What's the fastest way for him to heal?"

"This isn't my place, Lil. I'm not his, he isn't mine. I shouldn't be talking his business to others. Just... He needs comfort for one. A sense of belonging. What he would have with a pack. He can have that with non shifters. I've seen vampires and humans as parts of pards. Mostly as fodder but they help."

Rolling his shoulders, trying to not look uncomfortable.

Quietly. "We've already talked about it, but I didn't trust myself to do it alone."

"I would rather you healed more. But yeah, not my place, Kid. You want back up? I'll be there. All you ever have to do, pup, is ask."

Smiling softly, eyes slitted once more.

"How could I fault you, abandon you, when yer doin' what I told you to?"

..Jason? Do you want me to leave? Or..

He shrugs. "Up to Lil, I don't care. She might need someone to help her clean up afterwards."

She turns to Lilibet.

"Lil? I'll be honest, I wasn't made like these guys were - but Jason will tell you, I've had my share of times that I've been bloody and near - broken. And it was good to have someone there to help...If you want me to stay, I will."

"Then I'm staying, and yes, it really is that simple".

She shakes her head at what Jason said. "So, if you were about to be bitten, where would you chose?"

"What would I choose? We are talking were, not vamp." She grins suddenly.

"Probably shoulder. Your off side, not your strong side. This way you can still walk, talk, chew your food and write a note. Plus, if you scar up, it will look really cool - as compared to bitemarks on your arm, or on your hip."

Sighing, shrugging his shoulders.

"On three conditions. You start to lose it? You tell me. Swear by it and I can invoke pard punishment if you don't. Two? Someone, her, me, Leela, everyone, I don't fucking care, stays with you until you are healed completely. Three? Soon as you feel up to it, tomorrow? We finish the talk we started."

Nods, agreeing with all the conditions. "Got it. Just letting you know, for some reason, in this dimension you can't stay shifted for long outside of the moon. It's freaky..."

"I.. I noticed when I did Scud over." Sighing, running fingers through his hair.

"I don't like you doing this now.. But I think I understand why."

"We do this now, and we'll know in a couple of days, instead of having to wait until next month."

He sighs. "Besides, it'll heal the scratches, they itch like fucking crazy."

"Few days and you get what ya need, kid. Who could fault you?'

Shrugging, offering a wan smile to Jason.

"Ya know, my third condition might become moot."

Glares at Gabriel. "It better not. You promised we would finish that talk."

"As you wish, kid."

Leaning over to lick his nose.

"Stop looking at me like that. Makes me want to bite you."

Sighs and smiles. "We'd better get this show on the road."

"Yer show, kid. Go for it."

Pausing a moment then leaning in, catlike and kittenish, nuzzling his cheek against Jason's jaw.

"Cause later when you smell like mutt, I might not want to do that."

Grinning.

He sighs and stands up, heading for the bathroom. "Someone help Lil figure out where she's going to be bitten at."
